Professor Jayasinghe is a Senior Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Medicine & Periodontology at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He is a board-certified Specialist in Oral Surgery with extensive experience in academic leadership, research, postgraduate education, and professional service at both national and international levels. He also holds adjunct honorary professorships at several overseas institutions, including Teesside University (UK), University of Puthisastra (Cambodia), Penang International Dental College (Malaysia), Saveetha Dental College, and Sri Ramachandra Dental College (India), reflecting his strong global academic engagement.

Prof. Jayasinghe obtained his BDS from the University of Peradeniya and completed his MSc in Oral Surgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM), University of Colombo, where he later achieved board certification. He is a Fellow of multiple prestigious professional bodies and is recognized as a Tier 4★ Researcher.

His research interests include oral cancer, oral potentially malignant disorders, artificial intelligence in dentistry, and smokeless tobacco and areca nut–related diseases. He has published over 220 peer-reviewed research articles, authored 10 books, contributed 18 book chapters, and delivered more than 250 scientific presentations. His scholarly impact is reflected by an h-index of 28 and over 2,950 citations.

Prof. Jayasinghe has secured more than 16 competitive research grants as Principal Investigator and has received numerous national awards for research and teaching excellence. He has held several senior academic leadership roles and currently serves in key positions within national and regional professional organizations, contributing significantly to dental education, research, and policy development.

Professor Niroshani S. Soysa is a Senior Professor in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She obtained her BDS degree in 2001, graduating first in the order of merit, and completed her PhD at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan, in 2008. Her research interests include pharmacology, bone biology, molecular biology, oral cancer, and oral potentially malignant disorders. She has published over 50 scientific papers and has an H-index of 19. She is the author of the textbooks Basics in Pharmacology and Lecture Notes on Local Anesthetics in Dentistry. Prof. Soysa is the Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology and former Director of the Center for Research in Oral Cancer. Her achievements have been recognized through numerous national and international awards, including the IADR Unilever/Hatton Award, Young Investigator Awards from the Japanese Pharmacological Society and Japanese Association for Dental Research, multiple President’s Awards for Scientific Publications, and NRC Merit Awards.

Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kumaresan completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Vinayaka Mission’s Dental College, India. He then obtained his post-graduate degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the K.L.E.S Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum. He has been rendering oral surgical care to patients with complex medical conditions and has been actively involved in various research projects. He has several publications pertaining to Oral Surgery and Forensic Dentistry in international citation-indexed journals and received various University-level and National-level research grants. Dr. Ramesh is a strong proponent of gamification in education and practices active learning approach in enhancing students’ engagement for effective and meaningful learning. He has completed Masters in Health Professions Education and has 10 years of involvement in dental degree curriculum development, review and continuous quality improvement. He is currently serving as the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry at AIMST University, Malaysia.

Dr. Krishnanand P. Satelur is an experienced Oral Pathologist and academic leader with nearly 20 years of expertise in Dental Education, Research, and Administration. He currently serves as the Associate Dean and Professor & Head of the Department of Oral Pathology at Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences. His educational qualifications include an ongoing PG Diploma in Medical Law Ethics from the prestigious NLSIU Bengaluru and multiple fellowships in Dental Education, Oral Implantology, and Forensic Odontology. Dr. Satelur is also holding several significant roles, including that of Assessor for NAAC, Director of IQAC in his place of work, and has also served as Member of the Academic Council of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Government of Karnataka where he has contributed to curriculum development, examination reforms, and innovative teaching methodologies, with a strong focus on undergraduate and postgraduate dental education and has been involved in multiple committees related to dental education and research.

His research portfolio is broad, with around 50 publications in National & International journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and PubMed, covering his areas of interest which are Oral Cancers, Precancerous conditions, Forensic Odontology, and Immunohistochemistry. He also holds patents for innovative dental devices and has secured multiple research grants for various studies from the ICMR & RGUHS while serving as principal investigator and guide.

Dr. Satelur is an active academic speaker and has delivered keynote and invited lectures at various national & international platforms. He has chaired multiple sessions at national conferences and contributed to professional development through workshops and research mentorship. Overall, he is recognized for his academic rigor, public speaking skills, leadership, and commitment to advancing oral pathology and dental education nationally.

Dr. Sunil Surendraprasad Mishra is Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune. A Gold Medalist in M.D.S. (Oral Medicine and Radiology), he has over 13 years of academic and clinical experience. He is a recognized postgraduate and Ph.D. guide with expertise in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), oral cancer, maxillofacial imaging, and artificial intelligence in dentistry.

Dr. Mishra has published 61 research papers, secured 665 DCI publication points, and holds a patent and a copyright. He has delivered numerous invited lectures, organized academic programs, and actively contributes to curriculum development, research mentoring, and innovative teaching methodologies, making significant contributions to dental education and research.

Dr. Prathibha Prasad is an accomplished dental academic, researcher, and educator with over 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years in higher education across the United Arab Emirates and India. She currently serves as Head of the Department of Basic Medical and Dental Sciences and Assistant Professor at Ajman University, UAE. Holding BDS, MDS, a Graduate Diploma in Health Profession Education, and a PhD in Oral Pathology, she specializes in Oral Pathology, Histology, Microbiology, and Dental Education. Her expertise extends to molecular research, oral cancer studies, and histopathology reporting, with a strong focus on the effects of waterpipe smoking and cancer progression. Dr. Prasad has secured several research grants and published extensively in Scopus and PubMed-indexed journals. A passionate educator, she promotes student-centered learning, interdisciplinary teaching, and academic excellence while mentoring students and contributing actively to curriculum development and accreditation initiatives.

Dr. Nurul Asma Abdullah is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Biomedicine Program at the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. With over a decade of academic teaching experience in molecular biology, immunology, and microbiology, she has also served as an internal and external examiner for MSc and PhD theses. She is also actively involved as an academic advisor and reviewer, as well as an auditor for allied health academic accreditation programs. Dr. Nurul is involved in multidisciplinary research encompassing biomedical sciences, stem cells and biomaterials, and pre-clinical studies, with a keen interest in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, immunomodulation, and inflammation. Her current research focuses on understanding the effects of immunomodulation on the molecular mechanisms of hard tissue regeneration, developing biomaterials for dental, bone, and cartilage engineering, and exploring cell-based and cell-free therapies for regenerative medicine, as well as finding alternatives for managing inflammation. Additionally, Dr. Nurul is an active reviewer for various international journals, and university and national research grants. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers and authored and co-authored several books and chapters. Professionally, she is a member of various national and international societies and currently serves on the executive committee of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society Malaysia and the Malaysia Biomaterial Society.

Dr. Amirrudin Kamsin is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Systems and Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He currently serves as the Head of Department, where he leads strategic academic and research initiatives within the field of computer science. Dr. Kamsin has an extensive record of leadership in higher education, having held several key administrative roles. He served as the Acting Director of the Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed) from 2019 to 2022, Acting Director of the Universiti Malaya Professional Development and Leadership Centre (UM-LEAD) from 2022 to 2023, and Deputy Director for Online and Distance Learning (ODL) at UMCCed from 2017 to 2022. These roles underscore his strong commitment to advancing academic excellence, professional development, and lifelong learning within and beyond the university. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (Management) from Universiti Malaya (2001), a Master’s degree in Computer Animation from Bournemouth University, UK (2002), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College London (UCL), UK (2014). Dr. Kamsin’s research interests are diverse and innovative, spanning human-computer interaction (HCI), authentication systems, e-learning, mobile applications, serious games, augmented reality, and mobile health services. His work bridges the gap between technology and human behavior, contributing significantly to both theoretical advancements and practical applications in these interdisciplinary domains.

Dr. Hasini Nelakurthi is a dental clinician and oral pathologist whose career bridges clinical practice, research, and academic teaching across India and the United States. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2021 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she was named to the Dean’s List. She also holds a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology from India.

Dr. Nelakurthi has over a decade of experience in clinical practice, research, and dental education. She previously served as an Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology in India and currently practices comprehensive dentistry in the United States. Her expertise includes the diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial pathologies, including oral cancer, cysts, and jaw tumors. She combines patient-centered clinical care with translational research interests in oral cancer biomarkers, salivary diagnostics, and emerging digital technologies in dentistry and dental education. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and holds a 2025 patent for a non-invasive infant finger-sucking correction system.

Dr. Ayush Dogra is an accomplished researcher specializing in medical imaging, biomedical signal processing, and infrared imaging, with a strong academic background and multiple prestigious post-doctoral fellowships. His work has contributed significantly to the development of advanced techniques in image fusion, diagnostics, and biomedical instrumentation, addressing both theoretical and applied aspects of healthcare technology. He has published extensively in reputed journals, showcasing scientific depth and global relevance, while his international collaborations highlight his recognition as a valued contributor in the research community. His portfolio reflects a balance between academic rigor and translational potential, with outcomes that strengthen diagnostic capabilities and medical imaging systems. The measurable impact of his scholarship is evident through his Google Scholar profile, with 2800 citations, an h-index of 28, and an i10-index of 51, including 2408 citations, an h-index of 22, and an i10-index of 46.
