Join NowDr. Yektiningtyastuti, Maternity Specialist, is a dedicated academic and practitioner committed to
advancing and improving the quality of higher education, the nursing profession, and nursing
organizations. She currently serves as the Head of the Health Information Management Study Program
at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Central Java Province, Indonesia, where she integrates
research, professional training, and community service to create a meaningful impact on education and
society.
She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Management from Trinity University of Asia, Philippines, a Master's
degree in Nursing, and a Specialist in Maternity Nursing, Universitas Indonesia. In addition to being a
senior lecturer at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, she is deeply concerned with the quality of
higher education in health care, particularly in the field of nursing. She is currently registered as an
accreditation assessor for the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH)
and also a member of the Maternity Nursing Branch of the Indonesian Nursing Collegium.
Furthermore, she is currently one of the expert curriculum developers for higher education in the health
sector in Indonesia. As a curriculum expert, Dr. Yektiningtyastuti actively serves as a resource person at
various scientific events in higher education curriculum development programs in the Republic of
Indonesia.
Dr. Yektiningtyastuti is also very active in various organizations, both educational and professional
nursing organizations. She currently serves as the Chair of the Human Resources Development Division
of the Indonesian Association of Nursing Education Institutions (AINEC) and the Curriculum Division of
the Central Java Province Association of Health Information Management Universities.
As a maternity specialist, she plays a crucial role in improving maternal and child health in Indonesia.
She is currently the Chair of the Indonesian Maternity Nurses Association, where she actively provides
capacity-building programs for nurses, particularly maternity nurses. Other academic contributions
include serving on the editorial board and peer reviewing for scientific journals, and she has received
awards for excellence in research, scientific presentations, and academic leadership.
Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Dr. Yektiningtyastuti is deeply dedicated to
healthcare, with a focus on maternal and child health and reproductive health. She frequently shares
her thoughts and ideas for improving maternal and child health through joint meetings with the
Indonesian Ministry of Health. She believes that maternal and child health can improve and reach
optimal levels if various changes in community attitudes and behavior are implemented through the
integration of knowledge, attitudes, empathy, and purposeful action. This belief continues to guide her
work and contributions to the communities she serves.
Dr. Víctor Javier Vázquez Zamora is a Mexican radiation oncologist with over a decade of experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors. He earned his medical degree from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in 2006 and specialized in Radiation Oncology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, graduating in 2013. In 2018, he completed advanced training in radiosurgery and cancer treatment techniques at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Vázquez has worked at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social since 2013, focusing on head and neck, gynecological, and central nervous system cancers. He currently serves as the Medical Director of AB Radiocirugía y Radioterapia de Puebla. In addition to clinical work, he is actively involved in teaching and research, serving as a professor for radiotherapy and oncology training programs, and has presented at international conferences such as ASRT and SGRT. He is also a member of more than 10 international medical societies.
He is a registered nurse, a certified nephrology nurse, a licensed professional teacher in biological
sciences, a trained diabetes educator, a palliative and hospice care advocate, research mentor, and
educator. With his more than 10 years of nursing practice, he gained enormous and valuable
experience in the clinical, hospital management, health research, project management, and nursing
education. He also built linkages from different nursing organizations here in the Philippines and
abroad promoting advancements in learning among nurses in different care settings.
Moreover, he is an international chapter member of Asia Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care
Network (APHN) Singapore, International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC),
Sigma Nursing (Psi Beta and Phi Gamma Chapters), and Advocacy and International Core
Member of Western Pacific Palliative Care Advocacy Network (WPPCAN). He is also serving as
co-chair for Non-communicable Diseases working group of the Association of Pacific Rim
Universities, and an external clinical peer reviewer for KDIGO (Kidney Disease Improving Global
Outcomes), Scientific Reports, BMC Cancer, and Elsevier, other scientific research publications.
In addition, he holds associate memberships in Sigma Xi, The Scientific Honor Society, and the
Medical Sciences–Public Health Division of the National Research Council of the Philippines
(NRCP). He also serves as Public Relations Officer of the Palliative and Hospice Care Nurses
Association of the Philippines. He was also a recipient of an academic scholarship from Taipei
Medical University, College of Nursing, for the Advanced Healthcare Professional Training
Program.
In advancing his career, he obtained his BS Nursing at LPU-St. Cabrini School of Health Sciences,
and postgraduate studies in teaching at University of Santo Tomas under a scholarship grant from
STEP-UP Philippine Business for Education. He completed the Fellowship and Masterclass
training on Palliative and Hospice Care in Institute of Palliative Medicine, Kerala, India. He also
attained his postgraduate certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the University
of Washington, and Western Pacific Climate and Health Responder Course from Mailman School
of Public Health, Columbia University.
Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Arts in Nursing Major in Adult Health Nursing at
University of the Philippines-Manila while still engaging in his professional development in
clinical, academe, and research. He is also currently a Faculty and College Research Ethics
Committee Member of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, and Adjunct Faculty
and Research Technical Reviewer of Centro Escolar University. Concurrently, he serves as
external institutional ethics reviewer for Our Lady of Fatima University campuses. He also worked
as a technical consultant and CPG Consensus Panelist for Department of Health and World Health
Organization in various scientific and technical projects. And most recently, he was appointed as
an international delegate of International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) for
the WHO-Western Pacific Region Regional Committee Meetings.
Dr. Sukhpal Kaur (Ph.D, PGDS, FNRSI) is the Principal of the National
Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh, and a leading figure in
Indian nursing education and research. With over 34 years of experience, she has
played a pivotal role in advancing nursing practice, introducing innovative academic
programs, and leading interdisciplinary research. She has successfully led multiple
research projects funded by ICMR, DST, and DBT, focusing on underserved
populations, including the elderly, cancer patients, and rural communities. Her
contributions include the development of trilingual educational tools, mobile health
applications, and indigenous cryotherapy techniques, many of which are now
integrated into patient care practices. A prolific author, she has published over 280
articles in various peer-reviewed national and international journals and authored
nine textbooks that are widely used in nursing curricula.
Dr. Kaur was recognized globally as one of the top 10 finalists for the
prestigious Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2025, selected from over 100,000
nominations worldwide. Her commitment to nursing education, patient-centered care,
and health innovation continues to inspire nurses across India and beyond.
Dyah Ika Krisnawati currently works as a lecturer at Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya. Born in Madiun, January 2 nd , 1977. Her educational and professional journey began with the Diploma III Nursing Program at the Indonesian Ministry of Health Nursing Academy in Malang, followed by the Bachelor of Nursing Science Study Program at Brawijaya University. The Master's Program in Basic Medical Science Education was completed at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University. Then, the Doctoral Education level was pursued at the Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Taipei Medical University. The DIII to Doctoral education levels were all undertaken with scholarships obtained from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the Dharma Husada Foundation of Kediri, and the BPPS and BPPLN DIKTI programs. To date, Dyah has published 12 national publications, 29 reputable international publications, 12 IPRs, and 8 books with ISBNs. With an accumulated H-Index of 15 on Google Scholar and 14 on Scopus. Dyah is also actively teaching in the master's and doctoral programs at the International Graduate Program in Medicine, College of Medicine, Taipei Medical University. Dyah is also active as a reviewer and editor in several national and international journals and is also active in the professional organization of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) as a member and a member of the Entrepreneurship section of the Central Board of the Indonesian Biomedical and Biomolecular Researchers Association (PBBMI). Farhana Tabassum Siddique is Pakistan’s first Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)—a
pioneering nurse leader, educator, and global health advocate with over 30 years of experience
in clinical practice, academic leadership, and health systems strengthening.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of
Nottingham, UK, and is currently pursuing her MSc in Diabetes Clinical Care &
Management at King’s College London, supported by the prestigious FEND (Foundation of
European Nurses in Diabetes) Scholarship. Her current research focuses on developing and
integrating the Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) roles in
Pakistan for the first time.
Farhana has served as Director of Nursing Education at several renowned institutions,
including Ziauddin University College of Nursing and Baqai Medical University College of
Nursing, and is the founding principal of MMIH College of Nursing, Karachi.

Dr. Pothiyappan Karthik is presently an Associate Professor and Head at the Department of Food Technology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University), Tamil Nadu, India. He has done Ph.D. in “Food Technology” at CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, India. He has grown academically as B.Tech. (Biotechnology) from Bharathidasan University and M.Tech. (Food Technology) from AC. Tech., Anna University. He has work experience in Post-Doctoral Fellow at School of Food Science and Biotechnology, Zhejiang Gongshang University, China in collaboration with University of Leads, UK. He has received the prestigious CSIR-Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from CSIR, Govt. of India for his doctoral work, Young Scientist Award from IMRF Reg. from Regd with Govt. of India NITI Aayog NGO Darpan and NESA Scientist of the Year Award-2023 from National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi. In addition, he got international research travel grant to attend the conference at Australia, 2015 by SERB-DST, CICS and DBT, Govt. of India. He has also a recipient of a funded major research project Rs. 75 Lakhs from DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. His research interests include Food Nanotechnology, Food Engineering, Food colloids, Encapsulation of bioactives, Biopolymers, Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals.
The research accomplishments include 2649 citations with 16 h-index and a cumulative impact factor of 130. He has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and publishers, 15 book chapters, granted international patents (Germany and China) and 1 national patent. Further, he supervised Post-doctorate, JRF, undergraduate and a Master student’s (MS) on the development of millets, functional foods and food emulsions. He has recognised as one of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s 2023 (UK) outstanding reviewers among 7 members in the world. He serves as an academic editor in Journal of Food Processing and Preservation, Int. Journal of Food Science, Journal of Food Quality, Journal of Nanotechnology and Editorial Board Member for BMC Biotechnology, apart from being a Guest Editor in Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Discover Foods, BMC Chemistry and BMC Nutrition, Springer Nature. He is currently editing a book entitled “Native and Modified Starches for Food Applications” and “Omega-3 and Omega-6 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids in Food Systems: Advances and Opportunities in Product Formulation, Technology and Delivery” in Elsevier.
Assistant Professor Dr. Tan Choon Hui currently serves as the Head of the Food Science and Nutrition Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. She has been with UCSI University since 2009, specializing in food processing and technology. Dr. Tan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Food Technology, a PhD in Food Technology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Teaching. She is a Professional Member of the Malaysia Institute of Food Technologists (MIFT) and a full member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World.
Her research focuses on the characterization and utilization of palm oil, food processing, and the development of functional food products, particularly aimed at enhancing the nutritional quality and shelf life of food products. Over the years, Dr. Tan has secured twelve government and institutional research grants and has contributed as a consultant to ten industrial collaboration projects.
Sapto P. Putro obtained his undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Biology at Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia, in 1992. He subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Ecology at the Postgraduate Program of the Bandung Institute of Technology, West Java, Indonesia, and graduated in 1999. In 2007, he earned his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Marine Ecology and Aquaculture from the School of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Flinders University of South Australia. His professorship in Marine Biology was conferred in 2021. Dr. Putro has dedicated numerous years to the study of aquatic ecology, focusing primarily on biomonitoring aquaculture activities in diverse aquatic environments, including lakes, rivers, coastal areas, offshore regions, and coastal aquaculture systems, both in tropical and temperate ecosystems. He is currently a Senior Lecturer specializing in ecology and aquaculture at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University, Indonesia. Actively engaged in both national and international scientific forums, he is a member of professional organizations such as the Indonesian Biological Association (PBI), the Indonesia Aquaculture Society (IAS), and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS). Additionally, he serves on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals and as an international keynote speaker in the scientific conferences in Marine Ecology and Aquaculture. Dr. Putro has published numerous articles in reputable international journals and has authored several books. His ongoing research emphasizes the development of smart, productive, and sustainable aquaculture practices by employing Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) systems, including his patented innovation, the Stratified Double Net Cage (Patent No. IDS000001488, August 8, 2016; Trademark “KJABB-IMTA SP01” No. IDM000661772, August 24, 2017; DJKI RI). The KJABB-IMTA product was recognized among the "110 Most Prospective Indonesian Innovation Works" in 2018 and has since received several accolades, including the 2023 Award for the Smart Dashboard System to support Smart Modern Aquaculture and Ecoedutourism, as well as the 2024 Award for the Smart Robotic IMTA Cage to support Productive Sustainable Mariculture, granted by the Business Innovation Center (BIC). Moreover, Dr. Putro has developed innovative software for biomonitoring applications that integrates abiotic and biotic data (macrobenthic structure), which has been registered with copyright (No. 000143025, EWS-3SWJ software, January 16, 2019, DJKI RI).
