Professor Dr. Shahrim Karim is a distinguished figure in Malaysian Heritage, holding the prestigious position of Professor of Malaysian Heritage Food and Culture at the Department of Food Service Management within the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia. With a profound passion for Malaysian culinary traditions, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the recognition and global dissemination of Malaysia's rich heritage cuisine. His significant contributions extend beyond academia, as he has actively participated in national committees dedicated to preserving and promoting Malaysia's food heritage. Through his efforts, he has been instrumental in documenting and refining the nation's culinary heritage, ensuring its perpetuation for future generations.
