Objective of Session – "Sustainable Diets & Consumer Behaviour"

Dietary choices are at the heart of both human health and environmental sustainability. This session emphasizes the importance of sustainable diets—those that are nutritionally adequate, culturally acceptable, economically fair and environmentally responsible. It explores how communities can transition toward healthier eating patterns that reduce ecological footprints while promoting long-term well-being.
The session will highlight plant-based diets, culturally diverse nutrition practices, consumer education and responsible consumption models. It will also showcase how policy, innovation and behavioral change can mainstream sustainable diets across societies.
